SURF Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Subsea, Umbilicals, Risers, and Flowlines (SURF) engineering efforts for the Abadi LNG FEED project.
• Develop and manage SURF designs, specifications, and standards, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry regulations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate SURF designs with overall project objectives.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and implement robust safety management practices.
• Review and approve SURF engineering deliverables, including stress analysis, subsea integrity assessments, and corrosion protection plans.
• Support the procurement, installation, and commissioning of SURF systems.
• Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams and subcontractors.
• Liaise with the Project Manager to align SURF engineering activities with project schedules and goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and standards at various project sites.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Subsea Engineering.
• 20+ years of experience in oil and gas engineering, with a focus on deep sea and SURF projects.
• Extensive experience in FEED for mega projects.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and codes related to SURF systems (API, DNV, etc.).
• Proficiency in SURF design and analysis software.
• Strong project management skills, including budget management and scheduling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with safety management practices and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience with large-scale LNG FEED projects preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to travel to project sites for installation, commissioning, and operational support.
