Contract
MiningResponsibilities:
- Lead the engineering efforts for mining projects in Indonesia, ensuring high standards of technical excellence.
- Oversee the development and management of project designs, specifications, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements and industry regulations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering designs with overall project objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses, ensuring robust safety management practices.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables, including structural and mechanical designs.
- Support the procurement, installation, and commissioning of mining systems.
- Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams and subcontractors.
- Liaise with the Project Manager to align engineering activities with project schedules and goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 20+ years of experience in mining engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Extensive experience in project engineering for mining projects.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to mining engineering.
- Proficiency in engineering design and analysis software.
- Strong project management skills, including budget management and scheduling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with safety management practices and risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience with mining projects in Indonesia preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Ability to travel to project sites for installation, commissioning, and operational support.
