Study Manager – Mining Project, Indonesia

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage feasibility studies for mining projects in Indonesia, ensuring comprehensive analysis and evaluation.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets for study phases.
• Coordinate with geological, engineering, and environmental teams to gather and analyze data.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, outlining study findings and recommendations.
• Oversee the development of project designs, specifications, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and approvals.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to study teams.
• Monitor study progress, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery of study milestones.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in mining project studies and feasibility analysis.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to mining projects.
• Proficiency in mining design and analysis software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong project management skills, including budget management and scheduling.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental standards.
• Experience with large-scale mining projects in Indonesia preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to travel to project sites for data collection and study activities.
