Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage feasibility studies for mining projects in Indonesia, ensuring comprehensive analysis and evaluation.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets for study phases.
- Coordinate with geological, engineering, and environmental teams to gather and analyze data.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, outlining study findings and recommendations.
- Oversee the development of project designs, specifications, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and approvals.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to study teams.
- Monitor study progress, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery of study milestones.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in mining project studies and feasibility analysis.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to mining projects.
- Proficiency in mining design and analysis software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong project management skills, including budget management and scheduling.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental standards.
- Experience with large-scale mining projects in Indonesia preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Ability to travel to project sites for data collection and study activities.
