Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering contractors on project scopes, estimates, and schedules.
  • Develop design specifications, control strategies, and support P&ID development.
  • Review control system, network architecture, and I&E package drawings.
  • Specify appropriate instrumentation and metallurgy.
  • Participate in automation programming, testing, and oversee installation and commissioning.
  • Adhere to schedules with DCS Subject Matter Expert and Project Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules at plant sites.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of project experience in the Petrochemical industry.
  • 4-10 years of I&E and automation engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with ISA/NFPA standards and leading DCS/PLC systems (Honeywell or Emerson preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation technologies and basic server/networking technology.
  • Experience with large manufacturing facility construction sites preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel for installation, construction, and vendor FAT testing.
