Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering contractors on project scopes, estimates, and schedules.
- Develop design specifications, control strategies, and support P&ID development.
- Review control system, network architecture, and I&E package drawings.
- Specify appropriate instrumentation and metallurgy.
- Participate in automation programming, testing, and oversee installation and commissioning.
- Adhere to schedules with DCS Subject Matter Expert and Project Manager.
- Ensure compliance with safety rules at plant sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 5-10 years of project experience in the Petrochemical industry.
- 4-10 years of I&E and automation engineering experience.
- Familiarity with ISA/NFPA standards and leading DCS/PLC systems (Honeywell or Emerson preferred).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of instrumentation technologies and basic server/networking technology.
- Experience with large manufacturing facility construction sites preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Ability to travel for installation, construction, and vendor FAT testing.
